حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَنْدَهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ قَتَلِ النَّمْلَةِ وَالنَّحْلَةِ وَالْهُدْهُدِ وَالصُّرَدِ وَالضُّفْدَعِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade killing the ant, the honeybee, the hoopoe, the shrike and the frog.
