حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ «وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فِي زَمَانِهِ»
Ibn Shihab narrates: Sahl bin Sa'd al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said - and he had lived in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), being fifteen years old in his (peace and blessings be upon him) time.
