حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، أَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ: «وَكَانَ قَدْ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَمِعَ مِنْهُ، وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Al-Zuhri narrates: Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said - and he had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and heard from him - he mentioned that he was fifteen years old on the day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away.
