Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunayf narrated that Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) bathing and said: "By Allah, I have never seen a body like today, nor skin like that of a secluded maiden." So Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) fell down; by Allah, he could not even raise his head. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you suspect anyone?" They said: "We suspect Amir bin Rabi'ah." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi'ah, expressed his anger with him and said: "Why does one of you kill his brother? Why did you not supplicate for blessing? Now wash for him." So Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) washed his face, hands, elbows, knees, the edges of his feet and the inner part of his waist-wrapper in a bowl; then that water was poured over Sahl, and Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) set off with nothing wrong with him.
