Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5543 — on the day of Uhud Sayyiduna Ali came

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that on the day of Uhud Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: "Take hold of this sword of mine, for today I have struck well with it." At this the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you have fought well with it, then Asim bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) and al-Harith bin al-Simmah (may Allah be pleased with him) have also fought well."
