حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ أَنَّهُ اسْتَأْذَنَ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْبَابِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَسْتَأْذِنْ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْبَابِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked permission to enter while facing the door, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Do not ask permission while facing the door."
