أبو الطفيل عامر بن واثلة، عن زيد بن أرقم
Abu al-Tufayl Amir bin Wathilah from Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4949 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever I am the wali
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، ثنا فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ كُنْتُ وَلِيَّهُ فَعَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever I am the wali (protecting friend) of, Ali is his wali."
