Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4891 — I was in al-Aswaq with Sayyiduna Zayd bin

Shurahbil (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: I was in al-Aswaq with Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) when some people caught a bird. Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, and the people put the bird in my hand. He took the bird and set it free, then struck me on the back of my neck and said: May you have no mother! Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared the area between the two stony tracts of Madinah a sanctuary?
