Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4800 — Khalid bin Ma'dan relates: I heard Abd

Khalid bin Ma'dan relates: I heard Abd al-Malik bin Marwan narrating from his father (Marwan), from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I suffered from sleeplessness at night, and I complained of it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say: O Allah, the stars have set and the eyes have become still, and You are the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, let my eye sleep and make my night peaceful." I said it, and the sleeplessness went away.
