حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّهِ، نا مُسْتَلِمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأُمَّتِهِ فَقَالَ: «اللهُمَّ أَقْبِلْ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَى دِينِكَ وَحُطَّ مَنْ وَرَاءَهُمْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ» وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for his Ummah, saying: "O Allah, turn their hearts towards Your religion, and enfold those who come after them in Your mercy."
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This narration does not mention Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him).
