Sayyiduna Rakb al-Misri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Glad tidings to the one who is humble without any deficiency, who keeps himself lowly without being in poverty, who spends the wealth he has gathered without sin, who shows mercy to the poor and the needy, and who keeps the company of the people of understanding (fiqh) and wisdom. Glad tidings to the one who keeps himself lowly and whose earnings are pure, who keeps his inner self sound and holds back his evil from people. Glad tidings to the one who acts upon his knowledge, spends the surplus of his wealth, and holds back the surplus of his speech."
