حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ وَهُوَ مِنْ عُدْوَانَ»
Muhammad bin Ubaydullah bin Abi Rafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, in (the list of) the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who were present with Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Rabi'ah bin Qays, and he was from the tribe of Udwan."
