حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَلَّادٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا قَالَ: كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي، فَصَلَّى صَلَاةً خَفِيفَةً لَا يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهَا وَلَا سُجُودَهَا، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْمُقُهُ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
Ali bin Yahya bin Khallad narrates from his father, from his uncle, who was a Companion who had fought at Badr; he said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man came and began to pray. He prayed a light prayer, completing neither its bowing nor its prostration, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was watching him. Then the narrator mentioned a hadith similar to it.
