Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4477 — from Sayyiduna Ruwayfi' bin Thabit; he

Suhaym (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Ruwayfi' bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: Dates, dry and fresh, were presented to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the people ate from them until nothing remained but the stones and what had no good in it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you know what this is?" They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You, the people of good, will pass away one after another, until none of you remain but useless people like these stones."
