حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَهَانَا عَنْ أَمْرٍ كَانَ لَنَا نَافِعًا، وَأَمْرُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْرٌ لَنَا مِمَّا نَهَانَا عَنْهُ، قَالَ: «مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ أَوْ لِيَزْرَعْهَا أَخَاهُ أَوْ لِيَمْنَحْهَا» . قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: " وَكَانَ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ يَجْمَعُ بِقُولِ طَاوُسٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ. قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: وَكَأَنَّ الَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْهُ مُجَاهِدٌ. قَالَ: شُعْبَةُ صَاحِبُ الْحَدِيثِ
Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us and forbade us something that was beneficial to us, yet the command of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is far better than what he forbade. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has land, let him have his brother cultivate it, or give it to him as a gift."
Shu'bah said: Abd al-Malik used to combine the statements of Tawus, Ata' and Mujahid. Shu'bah said: It seems that the one he narrates from is Mujahid - Shu'bah himself is the narrator of this hadith.
