حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ: أَصَبْنَا إِبِلًا فَنَدَّ مِنْهَا بعير فَرَمَيْنَاهُ بِالنَّبْلِ، فَسَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ لِهَذِهِ الْإِبِلِ أَوَابِدَ كَأَوَابِدِ الْوَحْشِ، فَمَا نَدَّ مِنْهَا فَاصْنَعُوا بِهِ ذَلِكَ وَكُلُوهُ» .
Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We obtained some camels (as spoils), and one of them bolted, so we shot arrows at it. Then we asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These camels too have a tendency to bolt like wild animals, so whichever of them bolts, do this with it and eat it."
