Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4317 — from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij; he said

Hanzalah bin Qays (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: "We used to lease out our land in return for (the produce on) the banks of the water channels and the heads of the streams; then this part would survive and that would be lost. So we were forbidden from that, but there is no harm in a fixed rent."
