حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ الْكَلَاعِيُّ، ثنا زَيْنُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، لَمَّا سَمِعَ حَدِيثَ، رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كَرْيِ الْأَرْضِ» . قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: إِنَّمَا كُنَّا نُكْرِيهَا عَلَى رَبِيعِ السَّاقِي وبِبَعْضِ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا مِنَ التِّبْنِ
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: When Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) heard this hadith of Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him), "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade renting out land," Ibn Umar said: We only used to rent it out for the produce along the banks of the water channel and for a portion of the straw that comes out of it.
