Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 387 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to visit

Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out to visit Abdullah bin Ubayy (bin Salul) during the illness in which he died, and I was with him (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the signs of death in him and said: "I used to forbid you from loving the Jews." He said: As'ad bin Zurarah died (too), so what of it? When he died, his son Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Abdullah (my father) has died; give me your shirt so that I may shroud him in it. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) took off his shirt and clothed him (Abdullah bin Ubayy) in it.
