حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحُوَيْرِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاتَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِمَنْزِلَتِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away at the age of sixty-five, and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was of the same age at the time of his death.
