حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَمِرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عِبَادٌ لِلَّهِ تُوضَعُ لَهُمْ مَنَابِرُ مِنْ نُورٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، لَيْسُوا بِأَنْبِيَاءَ وَلَا شُهَدَاءَ، يَغْبِطُهُمُ النَّبِيُّونَ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ» . قَالُوا: فَمَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: «الْمُتَحَابُّونَ فِي اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has servants for whom pulpits of light will be set up on the Day of Resurrection. They are neither prophets nor martyrs, yet the prophets and martyrs will envy them." The Companions asked: Who are they? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those who love one another for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."
