حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ مَهْدِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «ذَهَبَتِ النُّبُوَّةُ، فَلَا نُبُوَّةَ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ» . قِيلَ: وَمَا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ؟ قَالَ: «الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ»
Abu al-Tufayl narrates from Hudhayfah bin Asid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Prophethood has gone; there is no prophethood after me except the mubashshirat (glad tidings)." It was said: What are the mubashshirat? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A good dream which a man sees himself or which is shown to someone else for him."
