حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ , ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ , عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ قَالَ: «خَيَّرَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْهِجْرَةَ وَالنَّصْرَةَ فَاخْتَرْتُ النَّصْرَةَ»
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me the choice between Hijrah (emigration) and Nusrah (giving support without emigrating), and I chose Nusrah.
