حَدَّثَنَا مَسْعَدَةُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُنْذِرٍ الْحِزَامِيُّ، ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَبِيبَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّهُ لَمَكْتُوبٌ عِنْدَ اللهِ فِي السَّمَاءِ السَّابِعَةِ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ أَسَدُ اللهِ وَأَسَدُ رَسُولِهِ»
The narrator narrates from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in whose Hand is my soul, it is written with Allah in the seventh heaven: Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib, the lion of Allah and the lion of His Messenger."
