حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ شَابُورَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: خَرَجْتُ أَنَا وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَدِيِّ بْنِ الْخِيَارِ زَمَنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَأَدْرَبْنَا، فَلَمَّا قَفَلْنَا مَرَرْنَا بِحِمْصَ، وَكَانَ بِهَا وَحْشِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ. فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ
Ja'far bin Amr narrates: Ubaydullah bin Adi bin al-Khiyar and I set out towards the frontier regions in the time of Mu'awiyah. When we returned, we passed through Hims, where Wahshi bin Harb lived. Then he narrated the same account as in the narration of Ibn Ishaq.
