حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْأَبَّارُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَزْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي جَنَابٍ، قَالَ: " سُمِعَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ يَبْكُونَ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ:

مَسَحَ الرَّسُولُ جَبِينَهُ ... فَلَهُ بَرِيقٌ فِي الْخُدُودِ
أَبَوَاهُ مِنْ عُلْيَا قُرَيْشٍ ... جَدُّهُ خَيْرُ الْجُدُودِ "

مَسَحَ الرَّسُولُ جَبِينَهُ ... فَلَهُ بَرِيقٌ فِي الْخُدُودِ
أَبَوَاهُ مِنْ عُلْيَا قُرَيْشٍ ... جَدُّهُ خَيْرُ الْجُدُودِ "
Abu Janab narrates: The jinn were heard weeping over Husayn bin Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), reciting these verses:
"The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over his forehead, and so there was a radiance upon his cheeks.
His parents were from the loftiest of Quraysh; his grandfather was the best of all grandfathers."
