حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «لَوْ كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ قَتَلَ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ، ثُمَّ غُفِرَ لِي، ثُمَّ أُدْخِلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ، اسْتَحْيَيْتُ أَنْ أَمُرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَيَنْظُرَ فِي وَجْهِي»
Ibrahim (al-Nakha'i) said: If I had been among those who killed Husayn bin Ali, and then I had been forgiven and then admitted into Paradise, I would be ashamed to pass before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and have him look at my face.
