Fulfulah al-Ju'fi said: I heard Sayyiduna al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) say: "I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream holding on to the Throne, and I saw Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) holding the waist of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I saw Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) holding the waist of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and I saw Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) holding the waist of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and I saw blood pouring down from the sky to the earth." Sayyiduna al-Hasan narrated this hadith while some Shi'ah (partisans of Sayyiduna Ali) were with him, and they said: "Did you not see Ali?" Sayyiduna al-Hasan said: "There was no one I would have loved more to see holding the waist of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) than Sayyiduna Ali, but it is a dream that I saw."
