Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2747 — I went with Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib

Asbagh bin Nubatah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I went with Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) to Sayyiduna al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to visit him in his illness. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "O son of the Messenger of Allah! How are you this morning?" He said: "Praise be to Allah, I have woken up recovered." He said: "So it will be, in sha' Allah." Then Sayyiduna al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Prop me up." So Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) leaned him against his chest, and he said: I heard my grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), say: "In Paradise there is a tree called Shajarat al-Balwa (the Tree of Affliction). The people of affliction will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, and no register will be opened for them, nor will any scale be set up for them; reward will be poured upon them abundantly." And he recited this verse: "Only those who are patient will be given their reward in full without measure" [Surah al-Zumar: 10].
