حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ «أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، وَعُثْمَانَ، وَالْمِقْدَامَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ، وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ، وَمُطِيعَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ أَوْصُوا إِلَى الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ»
It is narrated from Hisham bin Urwah that Abdullah bin Mas'ud, Uthman, al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad, Abd al-Rahman bin Awf and Muti' bin al-Aswad (may Allah be pleased with them) appointed al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam as the executor of their wills.
