حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: «قُتِلَ الزُّبَيْرُ سَنَةَ سِتٍّ وَثَلَاثِينَ، قَتَلَهُ ابْنُ جُرْمُوزٍ وَمَعَهُ النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ زِمَامٍ، وَأَبُو الْمَضْرَحِيِّ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، وَقُتِلَ بِوَادِي السِّبَاعِ، وَدُفِنَ بِهِ»
Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah said: Al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred in the year 36 AH. Ibn Jurmuz killed him, and with him were al-Nu'man bin Zimam and Abu al-Madrahi, two men from Banu Tamim. He was martyred in Wadi al-Siba' and was buried there.
