Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2428 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: No servant

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الْعَبْسِيُّ، قَالَ: قَالَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَسُنُّ الْعَبْدُ سُنَّةً صَالِحَةً يُعْمَلُ بِهَا بَعْدَهُ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهَا لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْءٌ، وَلَا يَسْتَنُّ عَبْدٌ سُنَّةً سَيِّئَةً يُعْمَلُ بِهَا بَعْدَهُ إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ وِزْرِ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهَا لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِمْ شَيْءٌ»
وَأَتَى نَاسٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَقَالُوا: يَأْتِينَا مُصَدِّقُوكَ فَيَظْلِمُونَنَا، قَالَ: «أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقِيكُمْ»
وَأَتَى نَاسٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَقَالُوا: يَأْتِينَا مُصَدِّقُوكَ فَيَظْلِمُونَنَا، قَالَ: «أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقِيكُمْ»
Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No servant introduces a good practice that is acted upon after him except that he will have a reward equal to the reward of those who act upon it, without anything being reduced from their rewards. And no servant introduces an evil practice that is acted upon after him except that he will bear a burden of sin equal to the sin of those who act upon it, without anything being reduced from their sins."
And some Bedouins came and said: Your zakah collectors come to us and wrong us. He said: "Keep your zakah collectors pleased."
