قَالَ الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَنَدِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حُمَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا أَبُو قُرَّةَ، قَالَ: ذَكَرَ زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ الْأُوَلِ اللَّاتِي بَايَعْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ أُخْتُ عُكَّاشَةَ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ أَنَّهَا «أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِابْنٍ لَهَا لَمْ يَبْلُغْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الطَّعَامَ، فَبَالَ فِي حِجْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ، فَنَضَحَهُ عَلَى بَوْلِهِ وَلَمْ يَغْسِلْهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her), who was among the first Muhajir women who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and was the sister of Sayyiduna Ukkashah bin Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with him), that she brought a son of hers, who had not yet reached the age of eating food, to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he urinated in the lap of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water, sprinkled it over his urine, and did not wash it.
