حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَخْشِيٍّ الْفرغاني، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُفَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي، خَالُ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ أُمَّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتَ مِحْصَنٍ، قَالَتْ: «أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِابْنٍ لِي لَمْ يَأْكُلِ الطَّعَامَ، فَجَعَلَهُ فِي حِجْرِهِ فَبَالَ عَلَى ثَوْبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ، فَنَضَحَهُ عَلَى ثَوْبَهِ وَلَمْ يَغْسِلْهُ»
Sayyidah Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I brought a son of mine, who did not yet eat food, to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) seated him in his lap, and he urinated on the garment of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So he (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water, sprinkled it over his garment, and did not wash it.
