It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her), the sister of Sayyiduna Ukkashah bin Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with him), who was among the first Muhajir women who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Make use of this Indian wood, that is, qust, for in it there is healing for seven diseases, one of which is pleurisy (dhat al-janb)."
