حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ، ثنا الْهِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادِ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ، قَالَتْ: «دَخَلْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعِي ابْنٌ لِي لَمْ يَطْعِمِ الطَّعَامَ، فَجَعَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حِجْرِهِ، فَبَالَ عَلَى ثَوْبَهِ، فَأَمَرَ بِمَاءٍ، فَنَضَحَ عَلَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَغْسِلْهُ»
Sayyidah Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her) said: We went in to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and with me was a son of mine who did not yet eat food. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) seated him in his lap, and he urinated on his (peace and blessings be upon him) garment, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water, sprinkled it over it, and did not wash it.
