حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا أَبُو مُوسَى الْهَرَوِيُّ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، ثنا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ شَجَرَةَ، عَنْ جِدَارٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَقِيَنَا عَدُوُّنَا، فَقَامَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّكُمْ قَدْ أَصْبَحْتُمْ بَيْنَ أَخْضَرَ وَأصفرَ وَأَحْمَرَ وَفِي الرِّحَالِ مَا فِيهَا، فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمْ عَدُوَّكُمْ فَقُدُمًا قُدُمًا فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يَحْمِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ إِلَّا ابْتَدَرَتْ إِلَيْهِ ثِنْتَانِ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ، فَإِذَا اسْتُشْهِدَ فَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ قَطْرَةٍ تَقَعُ مِنْ دَمِهِ يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْهُ كُلَّ ذَنْبٍ وَتَمْسَحَانِ الْغُبَارَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ تَقُولَانِ قَدْ أَنَا لَكَ وَيَقُولُ قَدْ أَنَا لَكُمَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jidar (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he said: We went out on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and met our enemy. He stood up, praised and extolled Allah, then said: "O people! You have reached the morning amid green, yellow and red, and in the camp there is what there is. When you meet your enemy, press forward, press forward! For no one charges in the path of Allah except that two of the wide-eyed houris hasten toward him. And when he is martyred, the moment the first drop of his blood falls, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, forgives him every sin. The two of them wipe the dust from his face and say: 'We are ready for you,' and he says: 'I am ready for you both.'"
