حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ أُمِّ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ، أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ بِعُكَّةِ سَمْنٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَالًا فَعَصَرَهَا، ثُمَّ دَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهَا فَرَجَعَتْ، فَإِذَا هِيَ مُمْتَلِئَةٌ فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: نَزَلَ فِيَّ شَيْءٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا أُمَّ مَالِكٍ؟» ، فَقَالَتْ: لِمَ رَدَدْتَ إِلَيَّ هَدِيَّتِي فَدَعَا بِلَالًا فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَقَدْ عَصَرْتُهَا حَتَّى اسْتَحْيَيْتُ، فَقَالَ: رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هَنِيئًا لَكِ يَا أُمَّ مَالِكٍ هَذِهِ بَرَكَةٌ عَجَّلَ اللهُ ثَوَابَهَا، ثُمَّ عَلَّمَهَا فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَشْرًا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَشْرًا وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ عَشْرًا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Malik al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she brought a skin container of ghee to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and he squeezed it out, then the container was given back to her. She went back and saw that it was full. So she came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Has something been revealed about me? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What is the matter, O Umm Malik?" She said: Why did you return my gift to me? He (peace and blessings be upon him) called Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about it, and he said: By the One who sent you with the truth, I squeezed it until I felt ashamed. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Congratulations to you, O Umm Malik! This is a blessing whose reward Allah has given in advance." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) taught her to say after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) ten times, al-Hamdu lillah (Praise be to Allah) ten times, and Allahu akbar (Allah is the Greatest) ten times.
