حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَرَامٍ، قَالَتْ: بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِلٌ فِي بَيْتِي إِذِ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ قُلْتُ: بِأَبِي أَنْتَ مَا يُضْحِكُكَ؟ قَالَ: «عُرِضَ عَلَيَّ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَرْكَبُونَ ظَهْرَ هَذَا الْبَحْرِ كَالْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ» ، فَقُلْتُ: ادْعُ اللهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ، فَقَالَ: اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ نَامَ أَيْضًا فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ فَقُلْتُ بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي مَا يُضْحِكُكَ؟ قَالَ: «عُرِضَ عَلَيَّ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَرْكَبُونَ ظَهْرَ هَذَا الْبَحْرِ كَالْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ» ، فَقُلْتُ: ادْعُ اللهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ، فَقَالَ: أَنْتِ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ، فَغَزَتْ مَعَ زَوْجِهَا عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، فَلَمَّا قَفَلَتْ رَكَضَتْهَا بَغْلَةٌ لَهَا شَهْبَاءُ، فَمَاتَتْ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: One day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was taking a midday nap in my house when he woke up laughing. I said: May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, why are you laughing? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people of my Ummah were shown to me who will ride upon the surface of this sea seated on thrones like kings." I said: Pray to Allah to make me one of them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, make her one of them as well." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) slept again and woke up laughing. I said: May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, why are you laughing? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people of my Ummah were shown to me who will ride upon the surface of this sea seated on thrones like kings." I said: Pray to Allah to make me one of them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are among the first ones." So she went on a military expedition with her husband Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him), and when she was returning, her white mule kicked her and she died.
