حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي أَعْطَانِي ابْنُ الْأَشْجَعِ كُتُبًا عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَكَانَ فِيهَا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ بِنْتِ مِلْحَانَ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ نَائِمَةً عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا مِنْهُ غَيْرُ بَعِيدَةٍ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يُسَبِّحُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: «عُرِضَ عَلَيَّ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَرْكَبُونَ الْبَحْرَ الْأَخْضَرَ كَالْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ» ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ادْعُ اللهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ فَدَعَا اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I was sleeping near the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up glorifying Allah, so I asked him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people of my Ummah were shown to me who will ride upon the green sea seated on thrones like kings." I said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah to make me one of them, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
