Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21636 — Sayyidah Hind, the mother of Mu'awiyah

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Sayyidah Hind, the mother of Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with her), came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man, and he does not give my son (enough), except what I take from him without his knowing; is there any sin on me in that? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take what suffices you and your sons, according to what is reasonable."
