حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ: «الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا، لَا تُحِدُّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ، إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجٍ وَلَا تَكْتَحِلُ، وَلَا تَخْتَضِبُ، وَلَا تَلْبَسُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا إِلَّا ثَوْبَ عَصْبٍ، وَلَا تَطَيَّبُ» وَقَالَ هِشَامٌ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
Sayyidah Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: A woman whose husband has died should not mourn for any deceased person except her husband; she should not apply kohl, nor use henna, nor wear dyed clothing except a garment of 'asb, nor apply perfume.
Hisham narrated likewise from Hafsah, from Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
