Abu Murrah, the freed slave of Aqil (may Allah have mercy on him), said: I heard Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) say: When it was the day of the Conquest, my two in-laws came to me and I gave them security. Then Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) came, wanting to kill them. So I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "We too have granted protection to whomever you granted protection, and given security to whomever you gave security." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she poured out water for his bath. Then a screen was put up, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) took a bath. Then he stood and prayed the Duha (forenoon) prayer, eight rak'ahs, in a single garment, crossing its two ends over each other. I never saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) pray it before that, nor after.
