حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، مَوْلَى الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، «أَنَّ أَبَا حُذَيْفَةَ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ ذَهَبَ بِهَا وبِأُخْتِها هِنْدٍ تُبايِعانِ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» ، فَلَمَّا اشْتَرَطَ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَالَتْ هِنْدٌ: أَوَ تَعْلَمُ فِي نِسَاءِ قَوْمِكَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْهِناتِ، وَالْعَاهَاتِ شَيْئًا؟ فَقَالَ أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ: بايِعِيهِ فَهَكَذَا تُشْتَرَطُ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Fatimah bint Utbah bin Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with her) that "Abu Hudhayfah bin Utbah took her and her sister Hind so that they could give the pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." When he (peace and blessings be upon him) began to set the conditions for them, Hind said: "Do you know of any of these faults and failings in any of the women of your people?" Abu Hudhayfah said: "Give the pledge; this is how the conditions are set."
