حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: جِيءَ بِأَبِي قَتِيلًا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، فَجَعَلَتْ فَاطِمَةُ أُخْتُهُ تَبْكِيهِ، فَقَالَ: رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَبْكِيهِ، مَا زَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُظِلُّهُ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا حَتَّى رُفِعَ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the day of Uhud my father was brought as a martyr, and his sister Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) began to weep over him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not weep over him; the angels kept shading him with their wings until he was raised up."
