حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ الْعَبَّادَانِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، «أَنَّ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ أَعْتَقَتْ غُلَامًا فَمَاتَ، وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً لَهُ، فَأَعْطَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ النِّصْفَ، وَابْنَتَهُ النِّصْفَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Shaddad that "the daughter of Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him) freed a slave, and he died and left behind a daughter of his, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the daughter of Hamzah half and his own daughter half."
