حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، «أَنَّ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ، مَاتَ مَوْلَاهَا وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ، وَابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ فَقَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Shaddad that "the freed slave of the daughter of Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him) died and left behind his daughter and the daughter of Hamzah, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) divided the wealth between the two of them in halves."
