Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21149 — I heard Sayyidah Sarra' bint Nabhan

The (female) narrator said: I heard Sayyidah Sarra' bint Nabhan al-Ghanawiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) say: Our slave Nusayb asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about snakes, which of them should be killed. And I heard him ((peace and blessings be upon him)) say: "Kill whichever of them appears openly, small or large, black or white, for whoever of my Ummah kills it, it will be a means of his release from Hell, and whoever it kills will be a martyr."
