حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ لَكَ حَوْضًا، قَالَ: «نَعَمْ وَأَحَبُّ مَنْ وَرَدَ عَلِيَّ قَوْمُكِ» هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ أَبُو خَالِدٍ، عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ حَكِيمٍ، وَالصَّوَابُ حَدِيثُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ
Sayyidah Khawlah bint Hakim (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I said: "I have learned that you have a Pool (Hawd)." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and what is dearest to me is that your people come to it."
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This is how Abu Khalid narrated it from Khawlah bint Hakim, while the correct narration is the one narrated by Hammad bin Zayd.
