حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، أَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ سَنُوطَا، قَالَ: كَانَتْ أُمُّ مُحَمَّدٍ امْرَأَةُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ تُحَدِّثُ قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ فَذَكَرُوا الْأمَاراتِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا بَارَكَ اللهُ لَهُ فِيهَا، وَرُبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فِيمَا اشْتَهَتْ نَفْسُهُ لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Umm Muhammad, the wife of Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him), (Khawlah, may Allah be pleased with her) used to narrate: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Hamzah, and they mentioned matters of leadership and command. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The world is green and sweet. Whoever takes it with its right, Allah blesses it for him; and how many people there are who help themselves to the wealth of Allah and His Messenger as they please; for them is the Fire on the Day of Resurrection."
